Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that promotes relaxation and well-being by using gentle, non-invasive touch. The practice is based on the belief that a universal life force energy, or "ki," flows through all living things, and that low or blocked energy can lead to stress and illness.
A practitioner uses their hands to channel this energy, encouraging a healthy flow to promote emotional and physical healing, though it is not a cure for disease and is often used alongside conventional medical treatments.

How it works
Aims to balance energy: Reiki practitioners believe that illness or stress occurs when the life force energy in the body is low or blocked. By using their hands to move and balance this energy, they aim to clear blocks and encourage the body's natural healing ability.
Gentle touch: The practitioner typically places their hands lightly on or just above the client's clothed body, moving through a series of hand positions to cover different parts of the body, often starting at the head and moving down.
Promotes relaxation: A session is intended to reduce stress and induce a state of relaxation, helping with emotional stability and inner peace
